This book, by the Bookstore owner is a true story that took place in the hometown of the Old Bookstore in Flateyri.
One day in the year 1987 a cow was brought to Flateyri to be slaughtered. However the cow managed to get free and when they try to catch her, she jumped into the ocean and swam away, 3 kilometers to safety!
The book won the Reykjavík Children´s book award in the year 2021.
The book is in Icelandic.
